What is the big picture with Mac Bluetooth?

I have been toying with the idea of getting a bluetooth headset and a bluetooth (or something) wireless 'board and mouse. Maybe speakers, dunno yet.

As I Google and search this forum I see many posts with worrying problems re using this technology, especially many instances of it.

I am running a recent mini with Leopard 10.5.2, 2 GHz and 2 GB. What is the real potential for using this setup with 2 or 3 bluetooth devices and avoiding grief and pain?

Chiming in minimally, I have successfully used a Motorola HS820 headset with my iBook G4 14" without any problems, though it is the only Bluetooth device I currently use.

Many thanks for your contribution, michelsanford. In the intervening days I've committed to a Jabra (?) el cheapo which Xbox users use, it seems. We'll see how it goes.

Should this ever be anyone else's query, the answer is (as I suspected it was, of course) that, as a rule, it should work OK. My new 'O2 blue' (£5 on eBay) works fine with my Bluetooth-enabled Mac mini.

That's that, then.
