what options are available to backup?

I use backup exec on our netware and windows servers, I recently inherited the xserve which is great because I also got a 17inch pb to go with it.

The previous person has retrospect running, which is ok but I'm not confident their tape rotation is working as they described. In trying to setup retro like our normal rotation I've found that its lacking in its ability to assign jobs to slots or groups of slots in the autoloader.

Is there any software for osx that is able to use the slots individually?

A google search has given me a few online options but not much for software based right on the server.

Thanks for the link.

Do any of these have the ability to assign a slot of a autoloader to a particular job vs just randomly grabbing one?
