what to do with spotlight results?

So far I've wanted to use spotlight on a few occasions. Every time I'm looking for something like a jar file etc. The result is just the name of the file... what do I do now? I can't click on it or it tries to execute the jar file. Is there a way to open finder at the location of the file or something else?

If you click "Show All" and go to the list that appears, you can right click or Ctrl-Click the item and choose "Reveal in Finder".

Yeah, the options in the search bar are definitely lacking... And if you hit "show all", it starts the search all over again, taking time...
