All of the sudden I could not launch any programs. They would bounce and disappear... So I made the stupid mistake of logging off to log back in and see what happens. I logged off; tried logging back in and it it stuck at that spinning progress bar. I had to force power off (hold power button). I restarted it and booted up; logged in, and everything works fine now. What was the deal with that?
