What's the wisdom on OpenType and TrueDoc?

I've done a bit of research on embedding fonts, using the Windows .eot approach or alternatively the BitStream TrueDoc method. Can be done but drawbacks because certain browsers don't support one or other.

I don't find many people using Netscape now, and probably not many Mac users use Mac Explorer ( two browsers which do not support one or other), so is there a way through?

Will Safari/Omniweb/Firefox support one or other?

Is font embedding a practical possibility or is it best avoided for the tiome being?

Do you need this font for titles or for the main body of text?

If you need the font for a title, there are better ways to do it.
 
Not main titles. I agree main titles are best done as graphics.

There is a particular look on the page I am after here and this is down to body text and sub titles
