I'm on the new Macbook, and this Safari doesn't have tabs. It's only create new window in the file menu. The version of Safari that is running is 2.0.4

My PowerPC has tabs in Safari. I was just wondering what's the problem?

I don't know why Apple just doesn't enable them by default. It's such a great feature and heck, even IE7 makes it obvious to use tabs instead of opening a gajillion seperate windows. Ah well....to each their own.

Yeah, really. I can't get over how many Mac users I know use Firefox because they think Safari doesn't have Tabbed Browsing!

Tabs are a matter of preference. Maybe having it a little more apparent that you can enable them may not be a bad idea, but not all of us like tabs.
