Hi!,

I´m really mad or....hmmm i just want Direct connect to come really soon because i really want it, Jon Hess is very slow to post news but do you guys now when it is going to be realeased?
 
yeah i know but it´s quite unstable and Carracho has very long ques and if you have an own server it takes all the bandwith, i know because i had one before.

So give me DC for X! :)
 
I said in my first post you had to LEARN to use Carracho PROPERLY, which means :

- mastering your own server (I have one, it works fine, I have a ratio of 1 upload for 2 downloads, and it won't take all my bandwidth).

- connecting to the good servers, chatting a bit with admins, getting accounts and offering some, then get all your music at a 44 k/s speed :).

I recommend you reinstall Carracho, set your own server, exchange an account with someone who has the music you want, offer him an account, let him download, then connect to his place, get all your music in the queue and go to school :D When you're back, it's done !
 
Well, music was just an example. What counted in my post is situated before this word.

Really,I recommend Carracho. I'm not at home for the moment, but I know this Judas Priest album will be downloaded when I'll be back. Just as this X Men DIVX.

What is the difference between Carracho and Limewire or other Gnutella apps ? Is it better or faster ?
 
Carracho is no Gnutella app. It is just like Hotline but better, you log onto servers, it has a mapping system wich makes it easier to use and a user list, chat etc.

Gnutella apps is like limewire Acquisition iswipe and so on
