I've got 10.1.5 running and finally installed on my Lime Imac and just realized that Energy Saver doesn't have the option to turn the computer on at a set time anymore like 9 had. Does anyone know if this is still possible under 10? Shareware app?

Thanks.

OSX does not have scheduled startup. don t know about third party apps, but i ve submitted feedback asking for this to be brought back.

i've heard that you can supposedly restart in OS 9, make your settings there, and then switch back to OS X, and those timed settings will still have an effect. Haven't tried it though. Does anybody know if this feature is back in Jaguar (OS 10.2?)

that would make sense i guess. that stuff should be OS independent, it is stored in firmware. haven t heard whether it will be in jaguar, which i assume means that it will not. never know though....

there are 3rd party haxies for this. try www.versiontracker.com .
there was a thread about this back in the spring. sorry i don't remeber the names of the apps but i have no use for them. hope this helps.
