Where do I find FCP update for V 6.0.4?

Hi all,

I desperately need to install the RED log and transfer tool to FCP, and it says it requires FCP V 6.0.4

Our company's macs are not connected to the internet, so an auto-update is not possible.
The only thing about it I've found on apple's website was a tec-doc, that says Pro applications update 2008-02 includes the FCP update, but I can't find it anywhere on their site. Pro app update 2008-03 does not update FCP.

Anybody any idea where I can find it?

Thanks in advance

So after logging in, you still only see 2008-03? Unfortunately I can't see the same contents there (as I don't have FCS installed on this system).
That sounds like something in their reorg of the pages would have gone wrong. That would be good to report to them. Calling Apple support (selecting Final Cut as product so you don't end up with just desktop support) should be the fastest way to make that addressed.

Again, thank you Giaguara.

The support guy told me that the only way to update is to use the OS X software update utility. So I'll have to connect it to the internet. :S
I will have to do that for both Leopard and Tiger Macs.

Not happy, I tend to call them Mac-rosoft from now on...

I guess most of the users would be connected to internet when they do the downloads...
Hey at least he didn't try to sell you Mac OS X Server for the sake of doing the consolidated upgrades of your Apple software using the server for that sole purpose..

Heh, no, the guy was very nice and as helpful as can be. There is really no reason to complain about the service staff.

I'm just annoyed about the download thing.

As a company of international reputation it would be quite negligent not to keep critical data and production systems keep away from the internet, especially when you experience attempts of people to get inside your firewalls. Thanks Apple we have to give that up now, though for a short moment only.
And I'm wasting pretty much time for installing just a tiny plugin.

Some years ago those things have been just a download-and-1-click-issue...
