Where's a good place to buy a refurbished G4 iMac?

Last year, I got a refurb iMac g4 for $400 off list from Smalldog, and was very satisfied with my purchase. I'm currently looking for another LCD iMac, with a superdrive, in the $1200-1300 area (for a 15"). Does anyone know a dealer who carries refurbs WITH the Apple warranty (like Smalldog does...they come with an original 12 month Apple warranty). Smalldog is out, and seems not to be getting new shipments. Thanks:)

I will see if I can dig up a list of them, I use to have about five sites that I had gotten out of "Computer Shopper"..

Well, you could try the Classifieds section (of this site).
You could Google your way to a new computer.
You could look at local computer stores for deals.

Basically, shop around. You never know what gems you may find.

Hmmm, Apple used to have a Refurbished section on their site... also try PowerMax (www.powermax.com) they seem to have goodly selection :)
Of course... for not much more you could get a brand-spanking-new system....

I've been looking @ powermax. I noticed that unlike most companies, their refurb macs come with the original 1 year apple warranty, not a 90 day reseller warranty. I won't go with a classified ad, or some random reseller I find on google, because I demand that warranty, and don't really look forward to being screwed over.

I did on my iBook. Loved it to death, but had to send it in 2 times for some VERY costly repairs. And I only keep my computers for 12 months, so I enjoy always having a warranty.

;) ;) ;)

It's Apple, so you really do ;)
Apple tends to suffer from the quality-problem-on-first-revision-syndrome

Literally to death? Oh no!

I wish I were able to get a new computer annually...

Yeah, but you have to have some money because you are not going to get the full price you paid for each computer each time you resell. I wish I had the kind of money to do that.

Isn't it a pain to reconfigure every computer though?
