Which files do I transfer to PBG4 from MBP iTunes Library

I've finally given up in trying to burn an album from iTunes 9.0.2 and Finder to some Verbatim and Maxell CD-Rs from my early 2008 2.5 MBP OSX 10.6.2.
Which files from ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music do I transfer to my PBG4 for burning onto a CD? Artist, Album or individual songs? Or does it not matter which ones I transfer?
TIA

Doesn't matter. They're all standard files and folders for whom the computer doesn't matter. Have you tried using Burn? It gets some of the highest ratings and reviews.

Thanks earthsaver. Resetting the SMC didn't work. Downloading Burn while I'm writing this. I don't think it will work but I'll give it a try anyway. I've made a few coasters from Verbatim DVD-Rs also so it's probably hardware related rather than software.
If Burn doesn't work I'll see what happens when I transfer the folder with the artists name over to the PBG4.

Sounds like you should contact Apple. The recent SuperDrive firmware may have been the culprit. Do you recall when you were last able to burn discs on your MBP?

I don't remember a firmware update showing up in Software Update ever.
I think the last time I successfully burned a disc was a DVD-R a couple months ago. Even then I do get an error each time I burn a DVD, but they work fine when viewed on a DVD player. Some DVD burns for data end up as coasters though. As for CDs, I don't remember if I've ever burnt one successfully with this MBP.
