Help. I need a new all-in-one printer, home +small office stuff. Photo printing would be good but is not a priority.
My problem is compatability. I use a powerbook G4 running 10.3.9, but also have an older, very trusty imac G3 running 10.1.5 and 9.2. Is it too much to hope for that I could get a printer that works well with all three?
I have been limping along with an HP PSC750, which worked quite well on OS9, but began to be temperamental as soon as it had to cope with OS10.
I have re-installed the driver several times. Only the print function works now and that not very well - having regular tantrums, especially if expected handle a print queue. I am convinced there is nothing really wrong with the printer except it doesn't like Macs, so I am ready to give it up and buy another.
I have looked at a few around £100 mark and have no clue which would be best.
