white 13" macbook keeps going to sleep by itself while i am working

hi everyone,

my macbook that I bought about 2 years ago has randomly started to go to sleep periodically, it doesn't shut down and the screen will appear again eventually, but I can't stop it from randomly going to sleep when it feels like it. I installed updates because that's what Apple support said to do, but it hasn't helped much. Also, my battery has an x over it and it is only a year old of a battery (i already had to replace it) and i reset it the way apple support tells you, but it still has an x over the icon and says its completely charged but won't function without being connected to the power outlet. First of all, what does this have to do with "Mac OS X Server?"

If your battery has a red "X" over it, then the system cannot recognize the battery. Your best bet would be to take the MacBook in to an authorized Apple repair center (like an Apple Store) and see if they can help there.
