Why does firefox load on startup?

Hi,
Recently Firefox on my Powerbook G4 started loading every time I boot the computer. I'd rather have it not run automatically and instead only load it when I choose. How can I stop it from autoloading on startup?
Thanks.

Did you accidently choose the "Open at Login" option from the dock menu? (Click and hold, or right-click on the Firefox icon in the dock) That's what I did - took ages to realise what I'd done. Just choose it again and it will untick.

If you go into "Accounts", in System Preferences, click on your account from the list on the left, and then look under the "Login Items" tab, you will see a list of the applications that are set to lauch at login. You can use the '+' and '-' buttons to add or remove things from the list. Take Firefox off it and it should be fine.
