Why the new exploit isn't a huge deal

Yeah that article deals with the same exploit. However it's incorrect in the fact that this flaw CANNOT be used remotely.. you have to be physically sitting at the computer to exploit it. And second, it's not highly unlikely... you just have to open the NetInfo Manager application, and then you can exploit the hole if sitting physically at the computer. Obviously the person who wrote this article isn't doing any homework on OS X, and that's bad.

That site is run on a windows box.

Check out the date he posted that... just hours before the patch actually appeared.

Childish mac Bashing....

Check out the speed that Apple reacted on this one.

The more they don't do their homework, the more they will be surprised.

Think about what will happen in a few months when Photoshop comes out on this platform.

Most mac users "need" Photoshop for something. Several other macStandard apps are in the same category. As soon as those are in place.....

well, it will be fun to watch.

Microsoft will kick their own butts with the Office suite....

Ahhh... it was the whole claim that it could be run remotely that made me think it was a different exploit. Tricky windows site....
