Will these work on new Intel core duo imac?

Well, Kingston RAM has always been known to work with Macs, as have those from Crucial and some others. The question is whether the brand names used by PC enthusiasts like OCZ, Corsair, GeIL, and PNY (that one's a stretch) will also work reliably on the Macs.

ram is ram, isn't it? i mean, if you need PC3200 DDR RAM, anything that has those specs by any manufacturer will work, just, choose crucial or kingston for reliability

Well, RAM is RAM until you talk about the quality of the RAM. I know that Crucial and Kingston work since they've always had memory that worked reliably on Macs. As for Corsair and some others, since I've never tested them on a Mac I'm not quite sure, but on the PC side they've been known to run reliably, even PNY. Actually, I installed some PC-100 RAM that used to live inside some PCs inside some G3 iMacs here at work and so far so good. I believe the brand is Hyundai as well as some others, and so far so good.
