Will this "superdrive" work in a Mac?

I am not sure Toshiba is to be trusted. I have heard too many bad things about their products. That page does not tell what kind of connection that drive has. You need an Ultra ATA. Have you checked out Pioneer?

i would go with pioneer or cendyne (pioneer inside). you can get a 4x DVD-R/RW cendyne drive for around $200.

i dont see why it wouldnt. its a pioneer dvr-105 drive and is identified as such. the latest Mac superdrives are pioneer dvr-104s. it should work perfectly and save you several hundred bucks.
