hi i have an g4 imac with panther osx 10.3 I was wanting to know how you can open a windows CD on my mac? It is a CD that contains photos.Any help would be very greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Has it just been burned in a data cd format? If so, it should still show on the desktop. If it dosent show up, stay tuned. Others will find this post.

Do normal CDs work? You could try reburning the CD on a PC and then see what happens.

P.S. - What version of OS X are you using?

10.3.?

Example: 10.3.9. Can be found by clicking the blue apple logo in the upper left part of the screen and then "About this Mac"

Make sure you have checked the option to show discs on the desktop.

Go to The Finder, press Apple + comma, then under General, tick the box.

the cd was burned on a pc and other cds work fine like my music cds
The vast majority of PC-burned CD's work fine on the Mac when running any version of MacOS X. Most will work when running a default installation of MacOS 9. If your PC-burned CD doesn't work, it may be that the CD was not finalized.
