I am connected to a HP Photosmart 7350 printer shared from my Windows computer, and would like to change the quality settings when printing. In the windows drivers, you can hit preferences to bring up the "HP Specific" settings box, and choose an option such as "fast draft."
The OS X print panel seems to just be using a generic printer model for the share and has no way of customizing any of the print settings. I tried to supply the HP Mac drivers when adding the shared printer, but couldn't seem to get that to work either.
If anyone out there has any good ideas for this, I'd be glad to hear them!
