I'm interested in running Wine on Apple's X11.
I can't find on winehq.com any download for the x-window system and only instructions related to linux installation.

Can i install a linux distro on the X-windows system?

Is Wine a better option than Windows emulators?

Do I need Fink or the Apple X11 sdk for this to work?

Wine only runs on x86-based computers.

To elaborate. Wine only emulates the Windows API's, it doesn't emulate the processor. If you really really really wanted to do something painful you could possibly run Wine on linux on BOCHS. Man, it would be painful though

oh yes i know it is just the windows api that is why i want to use it.

i downloaded boch's before and it is somewhere on this hd, what version of linux does bochs come with?
