Ok, I recently tried to use the Boot Camp Utility to load Windows XP on my Mac BookPro, but apparently I messed the installation up and the version of XP I was trying to load was not compatible. I tried to remedy it by reloading OS X on the laptop and what is happening is that the Installer starts tells me to click continue to install the additional programs on my Mac, and when it get to the Destination screen it is totally blank. I have waited up to 30 minutes for something to show up, but it just stays blank. I try restarting the computer using the Installer Disk from the Startup Disk section and just keep encountering the same problem. When I have tried to use the Disk Utility on the Installer Disk all the options under each of the tabs for the device are grayed out and I cannot select or alter any of them. I am about ready to rip my hair out here and would appreciate any help you can give.
