Wireless authentication problem

Hi,

I have a serious problem with setting up WPA enterprise authentication for the wireless connection on my Mac.
During setup it should ask for the username and password (set in the Active directory in my company).
I can make it work in any other computer but not in my MacBook. In fact it works in my Mac also, if I log in with a different user. Image "goodsettings.jpg" shows you how the settings dialog should look like in case of a valid configuration (it was captured in my computer using a different user).
As you can see besides the network name and security settings there is a popup where you can set the type of the 802.1X parameters.
Using this profile I can easily connect to to the Wireless network.

However using my real profile the dialog looks like a little bit different: there is an extra popup about TLS certificate (wrongsettings.jpg). Regardless what I set in this popup the authentication fails consequently with an error message (authfailed.jpg).

Is there anyone who can tell me how to solve this problem?
Thank you in advance,

tibor

If you are using a lone Mac in a Windows dominated domain always keep the web site MacWindows.com handy.

So a new user on your Mac connects? Well it safe to say then a preference file may have been foiled up. Your Airport preferences files are stored in /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/. The file you might would want to delete/move out the airport preferences is: com.apple.NetworkUtility.plist . This will cause your Network utility to reset to factory default (for your username).

Good Luck.
