Wireless Mouse

My wireless mouse suddenly stopped pairing with my powerbook. I've checked batteries and have paired the mouse successfully with other machines. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe the mouse is ok,

Maybe the bluetooth (I'm assuming bluetooth) on your mac is either off (easiest solution) or is not working. Do you have a wireless keyboard (or other device) to confirm the bluetooth of you mac is ok?

when you asked if bluetooth was working, I tried the mac malady fix golden rule, turn it off and on. It worked. I'm sorry to have wasted your time...you were instrumental in fixing my problem however..
