Wireless Network

I'm in a hotel right now in Chicago. Theres a wireles network here, and obviously its working right now, but its constantly just giving me a self-assigned IP address. Its hours before I get it to work again, sometimes. And I don't really do anything to get it to work it just kicks in. Any suggestions?
 
You should probably set up a new "LOCATION" (Apple Menu/Location/Network Preferences…) and create a new location for where you are. Name it X Hotel, or something you can remember.

You're probably in "Automatic" for Location and that might be messing you up. :)
