Wireless networking G5- cheaper option?

I have a 400mhz imac DV, a dual 1.8ghz G5, comcast cable internet, and a linksys wireless router. My master plan: Connect the cable modem to the imac in the living room, along with the router. Leave the G5 where it is in the bedroom, and connect wirelessly. My issue- I don't want to spend $80-100 for an airport extreme card, is there another option out there (PCI, maybe?) That is more reasonable?
