Wireless printing problem

I set up my macbook for wireless printing (I have an HP Officejet 6110) and when I try to print I get this message:

The process "foomatic-rip" stopped unexpectedly with status 1.

It still says that the status is "printing" but it's going nowhere.

It does this for all programs, and the printer shows no signs of action (meaning it's not a signal problem). Also, using a USB cable, I can print fine.

Any help?
Thanks.

Is there any chance you installed Foomatic-rip/hpijs but didn't install ESP ghostscript from the same web page?

Alright, I did that, but now it says that my router is "down or unreachable". Do I have to put the ghostscript in any particular folder?

Thanks for your help.

ghostscript comes in a .dmg Mac disk image file, that you open and then double-click the .pkg inside to install using the normal Mac installer.

How is the printer connected?

I'm still not certain how you have the printer connected.
Is there a USB print server built into the router?
What model router or print server, so I can look at the manual?
