I've been wanting to try an old trick for OSX and have been unable to because I can't find an old utility.

It was called Wish-I-Were. It was an init and Control Panel that would change the Gestalt ID of you machine so it would think it was some other mac.

Does anyone know where you can still find this, or does anyone have a copy of it?

Have you tried download.com ????

I have that program I think on one of my MacAddict discs... I doubt that newwer macs (G4s) have Gestalt IDs.... lol... It would be funny though to make my mac think that its a Mac 128k lol :p
