won't shutdown/restart & blue screen?

Reinstalled 10.1.2 and still won't shutdown :-(

I've been having a nightmare with my Ti G4/500 laptop running 10.1.2 - It wouldn't shut down, restart but would just simply go to the blue screen and launch the desktop again. This also happens when I'm in the finder sometimes? Is anyone getting the same thing?

any healp would be much appreciated as I've just reinstalled my system an the same thing is happening.

If you have the ability to do so I would try booting you machine from a secondary ext. drive USB, FireWire etc. and see if you can get your PB G4 HD updated to 10.1.5. I had a similar issue with my TiBook after a re-install of 10.1.3.
