wont start up

my laptop when ever i go to turn on just goes to this black screen with words and numbers and it has just been sitting at this screen for weeks does anyone know what this is i wrong some computer fixing guys but they didn't know what i was talking about
 
Sounds like a kernel panic.

Boot from the OS X Restore DVD that came with the computer and run a "Repair Disk" with "Disk Utility" (available from the "Utilities" menu after you select a language for installation).
