A month of computer issues! My G4 died a horrible death, recovered the HD, plugged it in to an imac running OSX, tried to access a folder I really need and it turns out that the thing turned into a .LNK (unix executable file) and I can't open it!
I tried to rename the file, but it wont work because the file was actually a folder that held a bunch of docs...a folder doesn't have a file extension (?). How do you open a folder that mysteriously morphed itself into a .LNK file so you can get access to the .docs within it??
note: HD has OSX on it and the imac I plugged it into is running OSX as well.
