Word Virus on my Mac 10.3.9

I recently transfered my ibook to my new Mac g-5 and i seem to still have a word virus (When i emailed a word document to a friend they said it said
w97m.thus.a as the type of virus.

Can anyone give me step by step instructions on getting rid of this?

That's one of the few "viruses" we can get, Jen -- a so-called Word Macro
Virus. Grab a copy of this free de-bugger:

And reset Word to its defult state of not permitting macros.
