would you trust this software?

Well, I looked all over ebay, and I couldnt find anything about it, so I would be hesitant about it.
 
There are some reviews on MacUpdate and VersionTracker. Several are unfavorable, but it doesn't seem to be malicious, anyway.

You may want to try out Little Snitch. It will notify you when applications make network connections, and it lets you deny them access. So with that installed, you can make sure that this application is only connecting to eBay and not to any mysterious servers.
 
ok, so it looks like GarageBuy was trying to connect to iwascoding.com (the publisher's website). I didn't allow it to. This is bad, right?
 
It could just be that it's looking for updates. A lot of apps check for updates on launch (which is poor behavior, if you ask me). Is there an option in the preferences about it?
 
The same company makes GarageSale which is pretty much the top rated eBay auction generator for the Mac. I have trusted GarageSale with the same information for over a year now.
