Well, this isn't THAT big of a deal since I've got X working on my ibook. But the original install cd that apple send me wasn't readable by my ibook. it could read the data but it couldn't boot up with the cd and it made some really weird and loud noises. No other cd done this. So I had only one other option for nothing else worked. On my PC I made a copy of the original onto a blank Memorex cd. Works great. I have no idea whats wrong with the original cd and my ibook because it still won't read it. Oh well....
