Hello,

I have installed 10.3 and choose to install x11 as well, i also have installed the developper SDK required and was able to install Gimp as well. now were I am puzzled is that when I launch X11 i got to small menu with preferences, etc but when I choose to toggle to full screen I just got a plain grey dot screen with nothing on it, it seems to be quartz-wm but I am not supposed to get sometype of menu like a traditionnal window maker (ie fwm, kde, etc). I read somewhere there is something to do with the .xinithrc file. Any clues

X11 on MacOSX runs as another application, just like Safari. Each X11 App runs as an X11 Application Window.

When you switch X11 to full-screen, you're basically Covering up all other Apps, including Finder, Dock and even the MenuBar.

My advice is to Not switch to full-screen, and continue using quartzwm. In the X11 Applications menu, click on Customize..., and add a new Entry, as per the attached screenshot...
