Hi

I had a XCLAIM VR 128 card with the TV Tuner on my old G3 266 under OS9. I don't have the G3 anymore but now I have a G4 766 and the card doesn't work - under OS 9 or X. When I plug the monitor (Apple 1705) in the card and boot up, all I get is a blue screen.

Anybody know why?

I had a similar problem before I got my Radeon. Try putting it in a different PCI slot...I don't know why it worked for me, but it did. If it doesn't work, sorry, I have no other ideas.
 
XCLAIM VR? Oh, man. Those were bad... I had one and never got it to work too well.... :P... I can't tell you a whole lot, except that that thing has NEVER worked very well for me; it created all sorts of problems and usually gave me a blue screen (this on a SuperMac C600 603e/240, which was, coincidentally, the worst machine ever created).
