XDarwin and other X11 apps

Does anyone know of an XDarwin(X11) type program that would run on 10.3 or higher? I know about Apple's X11, but there are certain features that XDarwin has that are preferred. The current XDarwin only runs on 10.1 or 10.2. At least I've tried running it on 10.3.7 machine and it won't execute. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong. If anyone on the list has gotten this to work, please show me the error of my ways. When I go to the XDarwin.org website it says they are committed to Panther, but no upgrade has come out yet. So I was thinking/hoping maybe someone on this forum would have used another X11 app similar to XDarwin and could point that out to me.

Thanks! I was just looking at Fink and another site that mentioned installing XDarwin through Fink on 10.3. I'll give that a go, as well as X.org and see what features/similarities/differences they have. I'll do a bit of testing with it.
