XDarwin 4.3 crashes when I try to run in full screen mode instead of rootless. On my G4 powerbook, this happens almost immediately -- I get the ugly grey screen and the X-cursor and my xsetroot command runs to change the root color, but then it crashes before the first xterm pops up.
On my iMac at home, I can usually get a few xterms up, but at some point in the first 5 - 10 minutes, it crashes -- always when a new window should be opening.
Both computers are OS 10.2.6 and the same XDarwin. On the powerbook, I removed all traces of X11 and reinstalled and it still won't run X in full screen mode. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this work?
Everything is fine in rootless mode, but I have one application that will not work because it insists on having an 8 bit color monitor and I can only do that in full screen mode (as far as I can figure out that is ...).
thanks,
jrh
