This Xgrid parallel networking computation thing from Apple, is this even usable in any real way for us commoners yet?
I read the Read Mes in the download, but it's so vague. I get the impression that currently, in general, only very specific high end processes can be used. Right?
Does anyone have any info on future uses, like for After Effects, Final Cut, Maya and other apps that would make good use of shared resources?
You've got to believe that Newtek (Lightwave), given their announcement of going full XCode, will be all over Xgrid and Rendezvous.
