XMarks Firefox crashing my Macbook 2008

Hello,

This afternoon I installed XMarks (latest version from XMarks.com) on my Macbook 2008 in Firefox AND in Safari.
Sync'ed my bookmarks and .. was happy!

Until ... my Macbook started crashing every few minutes. I uninstalled most of my Firefox add-ons I had been installing this afernoon but my Macbook kept on crashing!

I then UNinstalled XMarks and now... all seems well again; XMarks for Safari still active and working!

I posted a (new) thread as well at the XMarks forum site; anyone any idea here maybe?

Hi,

Of course I can download the free Appcleaner as you propose! Thank you for the propostion alright, but ... that's a workaround only...
I DO know the XMarks OSX plugin is in beta right now. And... I managed to uninstall it before crashing my Macbook alltogether; this in the 'proper uninstall way' the plugin offers.

But uninstalling the plugin never makes it work; the more it works seemlessly on my iMac alright!

I'm in contact with XMarks already on their forum in order to get it solved!
