XPostFacto Expertise Needed

Hello all, I'm helping someone who is in desperate need of XPostFacto help. He has a clamshell iBook, pre-FireWire, and also has Tiger CDs.

He's having problems getting Tiger to install, even with XPostFacto. It still tells him that it cannot install on his computer, at the first panel of OS X Installer.

What can he do?

Based on the information provided, my guess is that your friend is barking up the wrong tree. A standard installation MacOS X 10.4 requires lots of hard drive space. MacTracker claims it needs only 3 GB, but I don't see how that is possible. At any rate, the OS requires as a barebones minimum 256 MB RAM. Assuming it can be installed on a 3 GB hard drive, your friend's computer likely does not have the minimum capacity requirements for the OS.
