I have a rather annoying issue with the xraid we have in the office. Last week we had a break in, they took the xserve that the raid was connected too but luckily left the raid in the cabinet. Raid was connected via fibre cabling and I think when they ripped it out they screwed the disk array.
Since then I have installed Tiger server (fully patched) into the comms room with an ATTO Celerity FC-42XS fibre card in it. New fibre cable going from the card to the xraid.
Problem: Raid Admin sees the xraid, everything seems to function and all lights are green but the raid will not mount nor does disc utility see it. I have deleted the current array and created a new one which took about 30 hours to initialise both sides of the xraid. Once done I though the drive would then mount in order for me to be able to format it via disc utility.....but I get nothing! Raid Admin still see's it, system profiler sees the card in the G5 ok but still no raid mount!
Any ideas people? Pretty urgent too.
