I am running OS XServe 10.4.11 linked to Active Directory. I created a local group and added my Active Directory users and added that group to the ACL. The group is set to allow with inherited permissions on all child objects. Owner, group and everyone is set to read and write.
The problem is.... users with Active Directory accounts creating folders on the share do not inherit permissions... file/folder permission default to; AD user read and write, everyone read only. If AD users copy folders from their desktops to the server, those folder 'DO' inherit server permissions.
Anyone have any idea why this isn't working or has someone found a solution for this?
