Howdy.
The company I am working for as an on-site contractor has just set up an xserve server and it works great; except for one big problem: All files saved to it by different macs (G5's) are saved with permissions set to Read Only particular to that one user. I don't know how to set the xserve to Read & Write for every registered user.
The server is set up for user name (firstname.lastname) and password for each user and there's no need to write protect any of the files as we all have to have access to them at all times.
Are there any books out there on xserve? I see many for OS X, but none for xserve itself. Not even on Amazon! How do we set the xserve for Read & Write permissions so it stops restricting file access?
