Yahoo Games clarity and speed

Why is it that when I'm on the internet in Classic OS I have no problems in Yahoo games like Literati, but when I'm in X, the operation is very slow, sluggish and the print is tiny and hard to read?:(
 
If you are using IE try this:

Go to menu/Exlorer/Preferences/Interface Extras/ and uncheck "Enable Quartz text smoothing"

I have had some problems with redraw and it seems to have been the answer.

I can't say this will fix the text size issue but may help with the game being sluggish.
