I am the only one here that is quite pissed off at Yahoo! that we have to live with a quite old and damn buggy version of Y! Messenger?

NOBODY in my family uses iChat, MSN or any other messenger than Yahoo and quite honestly, I like it a lot... pretty cool features... but I am really upset that I have to run such a damn old version on my Mac!

Ok, maybe I am the only one... but I am still pissed!
 
I second the Adium recommendation. It supports multiple protocols (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, IRC, etc.) and looks and works great. There are various other multi-protocol IM clients for OS X (AdiumX, Fire, etc.) as well as for other platforms (Gaim, Kopete, Trillian, centericq, etc.). Most of these also support other features that don't exist on the vanilla clients available from AOL, Yahoo, and MSN.
 
I am using yahoo messenger version 2.5.3 - i have had it
since switching to SBC Yahoo DSL several months ago
and have had no problems with it at all.
(OS X 10.4.4)
 
Well, one of the main features I use is video... I have a Logitech camera and everytime I close the cam, Yahoo crashes... :(

I'll check out Audium, I hope it supports video... :)
