i have an old scanner that i havent used for a while. the only drivers etc that i have for it are for os9, but im using osx now and really dont want to have to boot classic everytime i want to scan. ive checked the site for drivers but cant find squat. is there any software or anything out there that i can get so it can be used in osx, ideally importing into photoshop.

no import straight into PS but it will allow osx, win, even linux to support a lot of old usb and scsi scanners. Also image capture in panther supports a lot of scanners that osx didn't. My Epson 636U works instantly with image capture in panther.
