Let's count the Microsoft applications that have security vulnerabilities.

On second thought, let's not... I don't think Scott has the bandwidth for such a large post. :D

Octane, I love your little commentaries on these articles. :)

I'm from the school of kiss ass: keep it sexy, short and so sweet!

D'ye like that one?.. :D

I think there are a bit too much of those (little commentaries on articles by octane) lately. Some of them, like this one, have nothing to do with "Apple News & Rumours" at all. Or not that I could see.

Fryke, live a little.

Your germanic officiousness is like water torture.

Stop being so bloody pedantic and just go with it .. will ya, for me?.. :D

And just _how_ do they have nothing to do with the headline to a thread that _I_ started?..

you, indeed, do have issues.

its funny when folks dont think for themselves, instead just slam the opposition to be "cool"

I'm Swiss. Stop the hostility. And to your last question: "another windows flaw" - "Apple News & Rumours". I don't see the connection right away.

And so says the sage of the forum. Welcome, oh wise one.

I might just write that one down, wouldn't want to not look cool.

And, erm .. just for reference, I'm not in the least bit agitated. Emotion is often either lost of totally exaggerated with this kind of thing...

bring out the trolls!

i love how some mac users pay as much or more attention to windows then they do their own platform?

envy?

The solution is dead simple: if you don't like the thread, then you don't read it. If you think the thread is in the wrong place or not wanted, then you get a moderator in and let them sort it out.

I'm not so precious that I'm going to have a hissy fit over it.

However, I do take exception to digital-dad wagging his finger at me like I'm some scalded child.

For every 5 threads I start, 1 or maybe 2 will be about some pc-related topic. Enough people post into them, so there must be an interest.

A solution would be to set up a new forum for this kind of thing: industry discussion, IT, pc stuff, that kind of thing...

envy?

Maybe you haven't noticed but fryke is a moderator, and not only that, but he's a moderator of the Apple News and Rumors, so he can judge to some extent what should be in this forums.

PC related articles aren't Apple news unless it affects Apple in some way.

Like I said, he either moves it or he deletes it. Problem solved...

Just reverse it...count the ones that don't.

Um...well the list is empty then...that was simple enough! :D

octane, last i checked I, fryke, and captain code are moderators... im not of this forum, so my statement was merely an opinion based on your very very biased posts over last couple months. one could believe that youve never worked with a nt kernal based machine, and if you have, you didnt know how to work it. because quite honestly (this is coming from someone who owns 2 macs, and no pcs) win2k/xp is every bit as reliable as osx, as long as you dont make yourself vulnerable.

so please do yourself a favor, calm down with the rhetoric, if you think windows sucks, thats fine, but no need to slam it down everyones throats time in, and time out, especially since it has nothing to do with "apple news and rumors"
