I inserted a zip disk into the zip drive on my G4......and It didn't show up on the desktop (OSX) so I restarted the computer.....and then bam while it was loading up, it stopped 3/4 to the end......it just said waiting for local disks.....What can I do now...there is no way to remove the zip disk

There should be a small hole near the Zip drive -- use a strong paperclip in that hole to eject the Zip disk.
