    Hi All, Currently running OSX 10.5 and was wondering if anyone knows how to find your gateway address in Terminal? IFCONFIG only appears to show the IP address. I know you can find it via System Preferences > Network but would like to know if it is possible to find it via terminal.

    samba shares slow

    hoping someone out there in cyberspace can help me...just upgraded to OSX Leopard (silly me) and find that accessing files from a samba share in finder are really slow...around 24kb/s. If i scp files using terminal this seems much better at around 9mb/s....is this another flaw in Leopard....?
