10.1.2 install killed Classic

After installing the 10.1.2 update, Classic no longer starts up. I have tried booting "normally" and with extensions off (via the advanced tab) but it always gives an error "sorry a system error occured--"system" unimplemented trap"

I can boot into 9.2.2 as the startup system okay (regardless of the extensions I have), but that really isn't a good solution for me as I prefer to run Classic under OS X.

Thanks.

Another thing to try is: While running OS X, look in your OS 9 (Classic) System Folder. Find the items named 'Classic xxx', e.g. Classic, Classic Support. Drag them to the trash and empty it.

Then, try to start Classic again. It should display a dialog asking if it's OK to install some files for Classic support. OK it. This will make sure you have the up to date Classic support files. Good luck.

Thanks to mcasteel's suggestion about deleting the various classic files, and then restarting, Classic now starts up, even with all extensions on.

Thanks for the tip.
